peach
Feature Film | Comedy, Heist
In 1932, outback Australia, a grieving daughter must rob her merciless bank to follow her (day)dream of becoming a Hollywood actress.
Based on true events surrounding the 1932 Cloncurry bank robberies, ‘Peach’ is the feature concept that expands the storyline of ‘The Bank Manager’ short film. Since the short film’s release, the story has evolved to reveal a new lead character - Peach. For writer/producer, Maddie, merging her great-grandfather’s story with her own experience of growing up in a remote country town felt like the most authentic way to tell this story.
Synopsis: As a young girl, living in outback Australia (1918-ish) Peach dreamt of being in the moving pictures. But the Charlie Chaplin’s and Greta Garbo’s of the world all seemed to do this in a place called Hollywood. Cloncurry locals deemed this dream ridiculous. But Peach’s mother, June, encouraged her dream. Until she died - leaving Peach to care for her father (World War I veteran unknowingly suffering PTSD). So, Peach lets go of her dream, settling for daydreams instead. Years later (1932 to be exact), Peach is going through the motions of life while Cloncurry battles a drought and recession. Cloncurry locals include ISABELLA (dry European & general store owner), SARGE (Cloncurry Police Officer & fellow war veteran), HOLT (uptight bank manager), and CHIP (farmer, easy on the eyes, eldest of the Tucker brothers). Peach thinks she has accepted her life for what it is - until her father dies and Peach realises there’s nothing left for her in Cloncurry. But mere moments after her Hollywood dream is reignited, Holt is at the door informing Peach that her father was in severe debt and the bank will have to take everything. With no means to make the journey to America, Peach is inspired to rob the bank. She recruits Chip Tucker and his brothers who are about to lose their cattle station, finally putting her imagination to good use by devising an elaborate plan. But does Peach really have what it takes to pull off a bank robbery? Or will she wish she’d stuck to daydreaming?

TV Series | Comedy, Drama
A rowdy singer, sleeping with her guitarist, is blindsided when he quits the band. In all kinds of denial, Addison struggles to write a song to prove to her record label she’s worth keeping solo. Looks like she’ll have to face herself before she can face the music.
'Little Addy' is a comedy/drama television series that sheds light on the grey areas of consent, and speaks to the hurt inner child - literally.
Premise: Addison is the lead singer of a rising rock band. Sex, drugs and rock and roll - Addison is seemingly “thriving” in her tumultuous world. Until their tour ends and her guitarist (Miles) abruptly quits the band, taking his songwriting talent with him. Addison is given a chance to sign with the record label as a solo artist. She just has to write a song on her own. But a good song is honest, and Addison is not ready to face the truth. Flashbacks of a recent non consensual sexual encounters with Miles consume Addison. Triggered and traumatised on her bedroom floor, Little Addy appears - the physical manifestation of Addison’s inner child. And so the journey of facing the past, the present and herself begins.
